If you are unable to start your booked journey, please check the respective provisions on the refund options for the ticket in the fare conditions in Part B.1. for the relevant tickets under "What refund options do you have for this ticket".
If your ticket is fully or partially refundable, please contact the ÖBB Customer Service or go to a ticket counter and cancel the tickets. In the event of illness or an accident, please obtain a detailed medical certificate/accident report.
Please submit insurance claims as soon as possible by means of an online claim report.
