Our website is barrier-free certified!

Our website has been awarded the Web Accessibility Certificate Austria (WACA) at silver level by TÜV Austria.

This means that our website is highly barrier-free and therefore accessible to everyone. We are therefore among the first companies in Austria to make accessibility a priority throughout the entire customer and stakeholder process.

This independent audit did not take into account the links to the SCOTTY timetable information service and the ticket shop, as both services are independent websites.

Accessible web is the future

In Austria, around 1.7 million people live with temporary or permanent disabilities (source: Statistics Austria). But it is not just socio-ethical reasons that make accessibility on the web a key issue, but also business reasons: By adapting and designing the website to be accessible, the user experience, the application experience on the Internet and the ease of use can be significantly improved. All users of oebb.at benefit from this - regardless of whether they have a disability.
