Sujet Energiesparmesse Wels

WEBUILD Energiesparmesse Wels will be celebrating a remarkable anniversary in 2025: 40 years of commitment to using sustainable energy and innovative solutions across the fields of district and domestic heating, renewable energies, house construction, smart homes, electromobility and much more. From 5 to 9 March 2025, the trade fair in Wels will once again open its doors to trade visitors and interested members of the public, promising a wealth of inspiration and the latest developments.

The roots of the Energiesparmesse stretch back to 1985, when the first trade fair was held in Gmunden – founded by energy pioneer, mastermind and ‘Mr EnergyGlobe’ Wolfgang Neumann. In the years that followed, the trade fair developed into a well-respected platform for experts and interested parties involved in energy efficiency. In 1991, the decision was taken to stage the trade fair in Wels, which proved to be groundbreaking for sustainable development in the region.

‘Over the years, the Energiesparmesse has evolved into an important gathering place for the construction and HVAC industry as well as for private building owners,’ explains Robert Schneider, Managing Director of Messe Wels. ‘We are proud that we can offer our exhibitors and visitors not only a space for networking, but also an opportunity to share pioneering ideas that will have a positive impact on our energy future.

’ The anniversary not only presents an opportunity to look back on 40 years of progress, but also to look ahead to the upcoming challenges in building and home technology, energy supply, storage and use, digitisation and, of course, the entire construction sector, including the ancillary construction trades. The focus of the trade fair will be on innovative technologies, intelligent systems and best practices – with a particular emphasis on sustainable solutions. The supporting programme featuring specialist lectures, panel discussions and workshops will complement the trade fair. These events will share the latest findings and the experience of experts with a wide audience. Visitors can also look forward to new products, exciting demonstrations and the latest trends in the construction and energy sectors.

WEBUILD Energiesparmesse Wels 2025 will therefore not only be a celebration of the anniversary, but also a source of inspiration where solutions for the climate and energy transition will be on display. Join us and discover how we can shape a sustainable energy future together.
